Hey You
Here's some choice quotes from the "sales reps"...
Too miserable for suicide - NME
It all adds up to a collection which is enjoyable and – at least in terms of Malcolm Middleton – optimistic - BBC Music
There’s something rare and endearing about someone pouring their heart out to you and cracking a few gags along the way - New-Noise
"Follow Robin Down" is, for my money, the best track on the album - Leeds Music Scene
Sleight of Heart is little more than a glorified collection of outtakes - Drowned In Sound
Sleight of Heart moves beyond first appearances and, far from being a collection of cast-offs, offers both a change and also thankfully more of the same from this most humane of singer songwriters - Penny Black Music
Self-penned musings on self loathing and the general crappiness of love - CD Times
The tedious “Love Comes in Waves” and the repetitive “Total Belief” are far from Middleton’s best work - Obscure Sound
‘Love Comes in Waves’, a seven minute slice of epic indie pop...The song then concludes in a stunning series of vocal harmonies between himself and the airy-voiced Reeve. It is in his ten year career possibly his finest moment yet - Penny Black Music
Sales have never been an indicator of quality anyway - The Fly
Middleton shows off impressive acoustic guitar skills oddly reminiscent of a young Paul Simon - The Times
"Stay" sees him tempt a lover to "come back for more", or he'll "die" - Uncut
